We have MotoSat's mobile internet system called the DataStorm. Our ISP is Ground Control. It works really well and is how we are able to keep this web site up to date as we travel along. It is a two way satellite system (no phone line required) and therefore we can access the internet anywhere we are camped, as long as we have a view of the southern sky. It is the large oval dish near the middle of the coach.

This system has a GPS, compass and tilt sensor as part of its electronics and is therefore able to determine our location and attitude at any time. This is how it knows where to position its antenna when locating the satellite. To use it you start its control software on your computer and click "Find Satellite". Most of the time this is all that is required to get on the internet. Once in a while you have to do some stuff manually to fine tune the software that actually communicates with the satellite. All in all we are very happy with the system and would buy it again if we ever get another coach.
